This Christmas held a lot of change- new house, Kate on a mission and Ellie and Sam in St George! It was fun unpacking our Christmas decor and finding new places for it.
Some highlights:
Advent for Kate– I wrote out 25 envelopes and gave them to people that Kate loves. She received letter after letter that brightened her days away and made it one of her most memorable Christmases to date. She wants to save these sweet notes.
Christmas Eve dinner with both Nana’s– we had both of our moms! Sophie, Danny and I made homemade pasta with pasta sauces and meatballs from Tony Caputos! We put together this puzzle and watched WHITE CHRISTMAS! It was quiet and sweet.
Making ornaments– Ellie and Sam were home the weekend before Christmas and they wanted to make our picture ornaments that we do each year. We invited friends over, had racclette for dinner and made ornaments! We loved it!
St George– Christmas afternoon, Danny, Sophie and I packed up and headed down south. We took gifts for Ellie and Sam and gathered that night after all of the festivities. We stayed for a few days and it was a perfect recharge after a busy month.
We will look forward to next year when we hope to be all together!
