Annie called months ago and asked if we had any interest in seeing Yo-Yo Ma perform the Bach Cello Suites in the National Cathedral. We didn’t hesitate and booked plane tickets immediately. We had all thought the day would never come. The cathedral is magnificent. The music was exquisite. Yo-yo Ma was inspiring. It was worth any effort to be there. We felt so lucky. Thank you, sweet Annie!

She was going for a whip and landed wrong, slamming into the tumbling mat and had her knees hit her chest near her sternum. With a lump on her chest and tingling in her hands, we decided to take her to instacare. She sat up straight in her appointment because that was the most comfortable position, laying down was the worst. After an exam and chest x-ray, she was directed to take a week off from tumbling.
I can’t think of a better weekend than the Saturday after Thanksgiving to attend the temple for the very first time. Sophie chose Bountiful. We woke up to a blanket of snow all over the city. We made it a family affair. We were lucky enough to have “Go UTE” Nana staying with us, so she came too. After our time in the temple, we headed to Sunshine Cafe for brunch. Sophie, your faith, hope, and sweetness soften my heart regularly. We love you so much and I am so grateful to be your mom forever.

Our niece Sage was baptized in Evanston, WY with her mom Lilly. It was nice to be there with family.
